ACHIVEMENTS OF ASSOCIATION
At initial stage when there was sudden increase in number of Wage Weavers the Fabric Manufacturers started demanding for cheaper price which was unaffordable each and every power loom weavers. Coimbatore District Job Working Powerloom Unit Owners’ Association stepped in and struggled against this issue and helped in getting better wages for the Power loom Owners.

SEVEN times after heavy struggle with grey fabric manufacturers, association has got the above mentioned wages hike (With respect to that of inflation) for its members.
Even though there are 5 lakh Power looms in Tamilnadu, the coimbatore and Tirupur district Power looms are working under wages basis and as we produce grey fabric we are working on 24 hours (Totally two twelve hours shift per day)
